QUALTITATIVE & QUANTITATIVE FIT TEST

Respiratory protection is essential in many working environments. We offer mask tests to ensure that your employees are adequately protected against air pollutants, including asbestos and dust particles.

We offer testing on a range of respirators, from half-masks to full-face masks, from a variety of manufacturers (3M, North...).

Testing can be carried out at our offices or at the customer's premises.

In order to perform certain work in optimal safety conditions or in the medical field, employees must have previously been subjected to a mask fit which consists of a tightness test (fit test) so that it is possible to determine which type of breathing mask best suits everyone's physiognomy. The tightness of masks is of course the key variable in the optimization of respiratory masks.

Fit tests should be carried out once every two years, or when a change of breathing apparatus is required, or in the rare case of surgery that alters the shape of a person's face.

We perform qualitative fit testing with the 3MTM Bitter Solution FT-30 which meets the performance criteria of fit testing respirators under the current CSA Z94.4 Respiratory Protection Standard and the CSA Standard Z94.4. OSHA in the United States: 29 CFR 1910.134, Appendix A.

We perform the quantitative fit tests with the OHD FitTester 3000 device using a depressurization system to ensure the tightness of the masks with increased precision.

All particulate respirators or gas and vapor respirators can be tested. Accepted mask brands are NORTH, 3M, Honeywell
