In order to expand its teams for the summer period, the decontamination/demolition contractor had to hire several seasonal or permanent workers. As with every recruitment, the contractor must have the objectives of ensuring the health, safety and physical well-being of the workers and must consider the worker's right to working conditions that respect these objectives. In these contexts, the worker has the obligation to wear the protective equipment intended for him when working in an environment presenting a risk to his health.

In order to carry out work in optimal safety conditions in the presence of a contaminant, the workers must have previously undergone a mask adjustment which consists of a tightness test (fit test) so that it is possible to determine what type of breathing mask best suits each person's physiognomy.
We therefore carried out about forty quantitative and qualitative fit tests on half masks and full masks for about twenty workers.
As on every mandate of this type, we ensure that each worker finds a mask that suits their face, in which they are comfortable and of course, that the mask chosen is 100% waterproof.
During our interventions, we had to change the mask of a few employees. We made them try other brands, other models and we managed to find them the mask that suited their face.

When a test fails, our technicians strive to find the cause of the failure and always find a solution to the problem.
If you need to perform quantitative or qualitative fit testing on your employees, we can help.
